Bwiza Arts Centre is a creative and cultural hub based Rubavu District, Rwanda. Founded in 2019, the Centre was established to promote Rwandan visual arts while empowering young and emerging artists. It serves as both an art gallery and a training space, offering opportunities for artists to showcase their work, develop professional skills, and engage with local and international art markets.
The Centre provides a platform for exhibiting various forms of artwork, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, and handcrafted pieces. In addition to art exhibitions, Bwiza Arts Centre offers commissioned art services, allowing clients to request customized pieces ranging from portraits to landscapes.
Beyond art promotion, the Centre plays a community development role by organizing workshops, mentorship programs, and cultural events that nurture creativity and preserve Rwanda’s artistic heritage. It also functions as a social and cultural space where visitors can enjoy conversations, networking, and cultural exchange.
